Congrats to Brussels Deltaworker of the Month for May, Prince Sugira!
No matter what job they’re doing or where they’re doing it, Deltaworkers always do their best to deliver outstanding work. To reward their efforts and attitude, we came up with the Deltaworker of the Month award, which is granted to one Deltaworker in every region each month. Brussels’ winner this month was Prince Sugira, a 22-year-old Business Management student studying Marketing at the Odisee Business School. To discover why Prince loves working at Deltaworx, read on!
Convenient planning with Deltapp
“At the start of this academic year, I was looking for a well-paid student job,” explains Prince. “It had to be easy to combine with college and basketball training though, because in order to compete in matches, you have to attend practice twice a week. So when I heard about the Deltapp, I knew it was going to be the ideal tool to combine everything. Using the Deltapp and the Facebook page, I can get a clear overview of the rota, I can sign up for jobs on the days I’m available and find all the details of the jobs I am going to work on. Clear and convenient!”
“I think it’s important to experience a variety of employment experiences as a student, so before Deltaworx I tried a number of different jobs. I joined Deltaworx to learn more about the hospitality industry: how to cope with stressful situations, how to serve a bottle of wine, how to set a table, as well as issues such as etiquette. The Deltatraining was a good introduction. And it feels great to learn more and more for each event.”
Colleagues and true friends
“I like working behind the bar, because that way I’m closer to the customers. I don’t mind which city or venue I work in, it’s really about the people I work with. Most Deltaworkers love to work hard and play hard. And some Deltaworkers are extra special: a couple of them have become true friends.”
