“I wanted a student job with some flexibility”, Lisa tells us. “I wasn’t looking for something with fixed hours on regular days. I needed a fun job for when I had some spare time, something that I could easily combine with my studies. And that’s exactly what Deltaworx had to offer.”

Doing waiting jobs on several events, Lisa got to know a lot of other job students in no time. “It was really fun meeting all the other students. There were after work drinks all the time and we would bump into each other going out. We became one big group of friends. There’s a special atmosphere at Deltaworx, that really gives you a feeling of togetherness.”

After some time, Lisa became a Deltaworx Ambassador. “People who carry out what Deltaworx stands for, get to be so-called Ambassadors. Every now and then, Ambassadors from all three Deltaworx offices get together. At one of those Ambassador events last summer, I met Quinten. We got along right away and one thing led to another. A couple of months later, we started dating!”

Now, another six months later, the two love birds are both graduates so they said goodbye to their student jobs. But Lisa is still working for Deltaworx, be it on the other side of the chain: as a full time regional manager, she now organizes the jobs for hundreds of students in the Ghent area. “It’s very interesting to be on the other side now, planning events and putting together teams myself. It’s a fun and rewarding job. When people thank me for sending a great group of students to their event or they complement me on my work, a big smile appears on my face. I’m part of a great team that’s young and full of energy.”
